A Collectively Made film

Veins of Resistance was created by independent news photographers, editors, musicians, a composer and a graphic designer - collectively collaborating over four years. Though financial resources were limited to a few thousand dollars, our blood, sweat, and tears proved sufficient to give birth to a film that grew to completion through each person’s integrity, empathy and insight.

Each time help was needed, it was generously offered by other media collectives. Particular thanks are due to Oficina de Prensa America Latina, Piensa Prensa, Issue TV, Unicorn Riot and Sub.Media.

The original score for Veins of Resistance, by Sebastián Colarte, is available on Amazon.

Wind Born Film’s unique creative process was forged with our hopes that our ways of getting stories told could inspire more realists to try for and achieve the impossible.
